Driver CDL located in Chesapeake, VA to help us drive the future of snacking.

• Schedule (subject to change):
  Monday - Friday (3-4 days a week). Start time Noon, end time 11 PM. 10-12 hours per shift, 36-40 hours per week.
• Principal location:
  Crossdock – 519 Woodlake Dr, Chesapeake, VA 23320.
• Interstate.

As a Driver, you'll play a vital role in delivering our products safely and efficiently to stores and warehouses. Our focus on safety and timely deliveries ensures customers receive quality products.

• Ensure compliance with procedures and perform regular safety checks of equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.) to guarantee safety.
• Complete daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
• Perform duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch.

All applicants must meet all requirements set forth in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Final Rule regarding the issuance and renewal of Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDLs).

• Must have a CDL-Class A license and at least one year of proven safe driving experience.
• Have a valid REAL r’s license, U.S. passport, or federal .
• Preferred direct store delivery experience (DSD).
• Must successfully pass drug test, MVR, and background check.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse Registration required.

• Customer-oriented attitude, providing excellent support to key customers.
• Minimum one year of safe driving experience with no serious driving convictions.
• Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations and local, state, federal requirements.
• Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.
• Proficiency in using a smartphone and electronic logging device (ELD) for logging positions and driving times. Able to use a scanner and log deliveries.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and working schedules.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures.

Hourly pay rate: $29.85 per hour. Branch Incentive Plan (BIP) Bonus.
