Givens Talent is hiring a Yard Laborer / Forklift Operator for our Packing and Crating division. The role requires operating 35k forklifts and rigging experience in a yard setting for import and export freight.
Responsibilities- Secure freight to flat racks and open‑top containers.
- Operate 35k forklifts to complete assigned tasks.
- Clean and maintain containers and work areas.
- Follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Handle customer freight carefully.
- Experience moving heavy objects.
- Work in a warehouse yard, securing freight to ocean containers for export.
- Unload import freight from ocean containers.
- Use chains, binders, strapping material, tape measures, and power tools such as nail guns and saws.
- Handle freight with care.
- Be able to withstand outdoor conditions throughout the seasons.
- Competitive compensation starting at $17.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
