National HME is one of the nation's largest direct service durable medical equipment providers, offering services from more than 50 full-service branch locations and additional network providers.

We are now accepting applications for Medical Service Technicians to work in Chesapeake, VA. The pay varies depending on experience, but no experience is required as we will train the right candidates.

• Safely drive and maintain company vehicle (16-foot box truck or van).
• Enforce all DOT and FDA regulations related to Oxygen and DME for the assigned branch.
• Receive daily route and supply list, prepare the truck by pulling stock, loading equipment, and securing the vehicle.
• Deliver, unload, and set up equipment for full functionality.
• Review equipment operation and instruct patients and caregivers on proper use and care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain professional relationships using strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Participate in a 24/7 operation with rotating on-call schedules.
• Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity, and patience in all interactions.
• Represent the company positively and professionally.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current state-issued driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check with no major violations in the past 5 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Complete a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Ability to lift and carry machinery or equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
