Description
As a Depot Parts & Materials Coordinator, you will ensure repair technicians have the parts, materials, and supplies needed to complete their work efficiently. This role manages the depot inventory lifecycle—from ordering and receiving to stocking and distribution—while maintaining chemical safety compliance through SDS database management and proper labeling practices.
Primary Responsibilities- Process Depot Parts Requests and distribute parts to technicians as needed.
- Maintain and organize the Depot Inventory, including receiving, cataloging, and stocking parts in Vidmar storage systems.
- Order parts and supplies for technicians and the depot, coordinating with vendors and procurement as needed.
- Sign for and process Depot Purchase Orders through Receiving.
- Close out Depot Reports by managing the Parts Ordered Clock for technicians.
- Prepare and submit monthly BER (Beyond Economical Repair) Reports.
- Maintain the internal and online SDS Databases, including adding new chemicals, verifying proper labeling, and removing expired entries.
- Update and display current Chemical Lists on Flame Lockers and maintain the facility MSDS binder.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across teams.
- Basic proficiency with spreadsheets, inventory systems, or database tools.
- Experience in inventory control, parts distribution, warehouse operations, or supply coordination.
- Familiarity with SDS/MSDS compliance requirements and chemical handling documentation.
- Associate degree or coursework in supply chain, business, logistics, or a related field.
- Experience with ERP systems, inventory management software, or parts tracking tools.
Pay Range: $31,850.00 – $57,575.00
