Warehouse Associates at OCS support daily warehouse operations in a full-time, on-site role located in Suffolk, VA. Responsibilities include receiving, unloading, and loading freight; accurately sorting, labeling, and staging products; and preparing items for shipping and distribution. Team members operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, follow safety protocols, and help maintain a clean, organized warehouse. The role also involves verifying documentation, tracking inventory, and collaborating with supervisors and drivers to ensure efficient workflow and timely movement of cargo.

• Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving, including verifying documentation, checking quantities, and ensuring accurate handling of inbound and outbound freight.
• Candidates should possess skills in Packing and Unloading, with the ability to safely handle, stage, and prepare freight for storage or transport.
• Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation, with experience or certification in operating forklifts to move, stack, and load cargo.
• Candidates should possess skills in Pallet Jack use, including manual and/or electric pallet jacks for efficient movement of goods within the warehouse.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include prior warehouse or logistics experience, basic math and inventory skills, and the ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; willingness to obtain or maintain any required equipment certifications.
