The Town of Cheshire is seeking a part time Minutes Clerk for the Town's volunteer boards, commissions and committees. Responsibilities include attending meetings, and typing, filing, and distributing concise and accurate minutes within a designated timeframe. Competency with Microsoft Word and emailing attachments is required. Training on the requirements, format, content and dissemination of minutes will be provided. This position is a part time position without benefits.

Pay: $25.00 per hour, with an increase to $30.00 per hour upon successful completion of a six month probationary period. The current opening is specifically for coverage of Environment Commission meetings, which are typically held once a month on the second Wednesday at 7:00PM at Town Hall, 84 South Main Street, Cheshire, CT. There may also be the opportunity to cover additional meetings as needed and available.
