Our client, a well-established home care and healthcare services organization, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations at their headquarters in Cheshire, CT
. This is an temp-to-permanent opportunity offering a consistent weekday schedule, $22-23.90 hourly pay, and the chance to join a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional support and care throughout Connecticut.
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, vendors, and employees
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and office correspondence
- Maintain organized office operations and administrative workflows
- Pull monthly benefits reports and review employee eligibility information
- Update benefit records and communicate with external benefits providers
- Review benefit carrier invoices for accuracy, enrollment changes, and applicable credits
- Maintain databases, spreadsheets, employee records, and contact information
- Coordinate office supply inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with company events, meetings, employee initiatives, and special projects
- Support multiple departments with administrative and operational tasks
- Maintain a professional, organized office and breakroom environment
- Complete additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
- 3+ years of administrative support, office coordination, or receptionist experience
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience using Google Sheets
- Previous healthcare, home care, or benefits administration experience is a plus
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Professional demeanor and customer-service-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
