Hanwha Aerospace USA’s Next Generation Program provides a participant a realistic view of manufacturing, which can lead to industry experience and knowledge. The Next Generation Program complements forms of training and development received in classroom-based training alongside hands on industry experience. Selected participants will earn full-time wages and benefits while going to school.

Essential Functions
  • The Next Generation Program is a talent pipeline program with Hanwha Aerospace USA (HAU) that allows current manufacturing students to shadow within the company alongside taking classes at their respective educational institutions.
  • Every program participant must complete a total of 160 hours of job shadow. Shadowing should be completed during the time that you are not attending classes. HAU will work with each participant to accommodate shadow hours with classroom hours.
  • You will be compensated for both job shadowing and classroom hours. Once you complete the program and a 90-day probationary period, you will then be eligible for a full-time position.
  • Participants are required to submit time sheets for the class hours attended on a bi-weekly basis. Time sheets must be submitted to the Next Generation Program Manager on Friday prior to a pay period. All time sheets need to be signed by both the participant and instructor.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work without restrictions with ITAR related data.
  • High School Degree or G.E.D.
  • Participants must be in 2nd semester of college/program.
  • Participants must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English at a functional level.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices.
  • Ability to travel domestically – 10% max.
