Description:

Exciting, rewarding and challenging opportunities for highly-skilled individual who posses the ability to integrate academic and social needs of elementary level students into their teaching and learning on a daily basis. Individual must be innovative, creative and be skilled in the use of effective instructional strategies to demonstrate growth of all students. Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of national, state and local standards and have the ability to personalize these standards through instruction to all students in all subject areas.

A positive, enthusiastic, dynamic classroom atmosphere is desired embedding the Cheshire Performance Standards. Skilled integration of technology as a tool for teaching and learning is required.

Qualifications:

Connecticut Teaching Certificate #001, #002, #003, #004, #005, #013, #113, #305 or the ability to qualify, with appropriate endorsement(s), and expertise in curriculum sub-areas.

Salary:

In accordance with the Agreement Between Cheshire Board of Education and the Education Association of Cheshire.
