Primary Teaching Assistant

New Directions Education are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Sandbach and surrounding areas
. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and helping them to thrive within a positive and inclusive school environment.

The schools we work with are welcoming and supportive, offering opportunities to gain experience across a variety of year groups and classroom settings.

Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.

• Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and learning activities
• Working across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2 depending on school requirements
• Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities
• Promoting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting with classroom preparation and learning resources

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable)
• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• A full driving licence and access to transport (beneficial)
