English Language Arts Teacher Dodd Middle School

An exciting opportunity for an individual who possesses excellent interpersonal skills, high energy level, creativity and the ability to work with all levels of students. Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of, and the ability to teach all students reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in a heterogeneous, teamed academic environment. The ability to create a positive, enthusiastic, dynamic classroom atmosphere implementing cooperative learning and participation in classroom activities is necessary.

Connecticut Teaching Certificate #015 OR #215 and expertise in appropriate curriculum. Dual certifications in Core areas strongly preferred. Salary:
In accordance with the Agreement Between the Cheshire Board of Education and the Education Association of Cheshire. Benefit:
Children of a teacher who does not reside in Cheshire may attend the Cheshire Public Schools so long as the teacher continues to teach in Cheshire and pays 50% of the published regular education tuition cost, plus any additional costs incurred by the District regarding their child.
