New Directions Education are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Crewe
. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development and enjoy working in a variety of school settings.

The schools we work with in Crewe are welcoming and supportive, with a strong focus on pupil wellbeing, inclusion, and high-quality teaching and learning. These opportunities provide valuable experience across a range of year groups and classroom environments.

Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.

The Role
  • Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and learning activities
  • Working across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2 depending on school requirements
  • Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities
  • Promoting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Supporting with classroom preparation and learning resources
  • Monitoring and recording pupil progress where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
  • Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable)
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

    The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
  • A full driving licence and access to transport (desirable)
