KS2 Teacher

New Directions Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teachers to work in schools across Macclesfield and surrounding areas from September. This role is ideal for teachers who are passionate about delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils through the later stages of their primary education.

We work with a range of welcoming and supportive schools that are committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning while fostering positive and inclusive learning environments. Opportunities are available on a short-term, long-term, and potential temp-to-perm basis.

Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 2
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Planning and adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Assessing pupil progress and providing feedback where required
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
• Contributing to the wider school community where required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and professional approach to teaching
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and the primary curriculum
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• A full driving licence and access to transport (beneficial)
