Lead Teacher (Full‑time)

Work Hours:

No evenings or weekends!

• Ensure safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks–12 years in one assigned classroom.
• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum following NAEYC standards.
• Design programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment that encourages exploration.
• Collaborate with families to create individualized care and education plans.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child’s progress.

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education/related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR Head Teacher certification OR 12 credits in Early Childhood Education courses;
  Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a licensed child care facility (preferred).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Availability to work during regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.
