Description
Para educator to support students during whole and small group instruction as well as working with individual children throughout the day. Responsibilities include supervising lunch and recess and accompanying students to specials (art, music). Experience working with young children is necessary and an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices is desirable. Other tasks as needed to support classroom instruction under the supervision of the classroom teacher.

Qualifications- Two years of college credit
- Associates degree or higher
- Has passed a State Board of Education Adopted paraprofessional assessment
In accordance with the Agreement Between Cheshire Board of Education and CSEA/SEIU Local 2001/760 in Behalf of the Cheshire Paraeducators and Lunchroom/Playground Aides. $18.63 per hour. Benefits available.
