Job Summary
This role begins at an entry‑level rate of $33.67. Employees are eligible to promote into higher paying positions upon successful completion of training, with the potential to reach the maximum rate of pay $52.68 per hour.
Perform technical and specialized work of a moderate grade of skill in connection with all types of electrical systems: analysis, detection and repair of defects in emissions monitoring, interlock and control systems, electronic devices including solid state equipment, communication systems, and instruments such as meters, gauges, solid state generator excitation controls, combustion controls, regulators, scales, coal handling, soot blower controls, and chlorination equipment.
Assist in engineering and environmental studies and calculations related to the operating efficiency of power plant equipment, and assist engineers in performing other technical services.
Expected to align personal goals with the Mission, Vision, and Values of OVEC/IKEC.
