POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
- SHIFT : first shift, full-time, 40 hours per week.
- SCHEDULE : 7 :00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday

Manson Youth Institution (Cheshire, CT) - NOTE :
This is a Hazardous Duty position. Selected candidates will be required to attend a 3.5-week hazardous duty training at the Maloney Center for Training & Staff Development located in Cheshire, CT. See Selection Plan for more information.
In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For
- Regional behavioral health oversight for Manson Youth Institution, Cheshire Correctional Institution and New Haven Correctional Center;
- Clinical oversight of the behavioral health teams at MYI, CCI, NHCC including supervision of Supervising Psychologists, clinical social workers and professional counselors;
- Point of contact regarding behavioral health care matters involving DOJ, Administrative oversight, hiring, scheduling etc. for the MYI team;
- Member of the statewide behavioral health care system supervisory group of regional supervising psychologists;
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all federal and state statutes, consent decrees and settlement agreements regarding the provision of mental health services to the youth and young adult offender population.
- Direct supervision of the behavioral health team at the Manson Youth Institution;
