Billing and Collections Specialist

Billing & Collections Specialist - Cheshire, CT

Our client, a healthcare services organization, is seeking a Billing & Collections Specialist to support billing operations, payment processing, and account follow-up activities. This role will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and efficient account management.

• Process billing and invoicing activities for various payer types.
• Manage collections efforts and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
• Maintain accurate account records and documentation.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders regarding account activity.
• Support reporting, reconciliation, and administrative tasks.
• Utilize multiple systems to track and manage billing workflows.

• 3+ years of billing and collections experience.
• Healthcare, home care, or related billing experience required.
• Experience with Quick Books required.
