Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – PRN

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a PRN opportunity at Civita Care Center s flexible position offers the opportunity to provide individualized therapy while helping residents improve communication, cognitive function, and swallowing abilities.

• Evaluate residents for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and resident goals
• Provide skilled therapy addressing communication, cognition, and dysphagia
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment approaches as appropriate
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies to support communication and safe swallowing
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team

• $55–$60/hour
• Flexible PRN scheduling

• Opportunity to provide meaningful, individualized care

• Active Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
• New graduate Speech-Language Pathologists are welcome to apply
