Senior Desk Engineer

Position: Senior Support Desk Engineer
Our client is seeking a Senior Desktop Support Engineer with a strong background in end-user support and systems administration. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys troubleshooting complex technical issues, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. This is a hybrid position based in Fairfield County, CT.

Senior Desktop Support Engineer's Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide advanced desktop and end-user support across Windows environments
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues for both local and remote users
• Support and maintain Microsoft Office 365 environments
• Assist with basic server administration and support tasks
• Manage and resolve tickets using Jira ticketing system

Senior Desktop Support Engineer's Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in helpdesk support and/or systems administration
• Strong experience with Windows OS and desktop environments
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Intune
• Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing systems
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
• Power Shell scripting experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
