Proposal Coordinator

Overview

SLR Consulting is a 500+ employee, coast‑to‑coast environmental, engineering, and regulatory advisory firm. The Proposal Coordinator will support the team by creating, coordinating, and delivering competitive proposals and RFP responses.

• Lead the preparation of proposal and interview materials.
• Prepare technical presentations as requested.
• Ensure written communications are consistent in design, tone, and follow company guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining marketing databases and project descriptions.
• Maintain open lines of communication and respond promptly to all inquiries.
• Develop and maintain relationships with technical staff to support marketing efforts.
• Perform QA/QC review of proposal and interview materials.
• Provide backup support for web materials and to the Marketing Manager for RFQ/RFP opportunities.
• Conduct market research on industry trends as requested.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (education may be substituted with experience).
• +2 years of proposal or marketing experience, preferably with an A/E firm.
• Excellent writing, proofreading, editing, and document production skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) is required; experience in the proposal process is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment with time‑critical deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and visually literate.
• Team player with the ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels.

• Competitive total compensation package (salary range $75,000 – $80,000, commensurate with experience).
