Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Nurse Manager / Lead Nurse in a fast-paced OB/GYN women's health practice. This full-time position is located in Connecticut and requires an individual who can effectively support daily clinical operations, patient triaging, and insurance-related workflows. The ideal candidate is a strong critical thinker who takes ownership of their work, demonstrates accountability, and can manage competing priorities with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

* Serve as the primary clinical support for providers in a busy OB/GYN practice.

* Perform patient triaging, assess symptoms, and determine appropriate next steps.

* Manage insurance authorizations, referrals, and related clinical documentation.

* Coordinate patient care and ensure timely follow-up.

* Support daily clinical workflows and assist with problem-solving as issues arise.

* Maintain accurate and compliant patient records.

* Act as a reliable point of contact for both patients and internal staff.

Essential Skills

* Active RN or LPN license in the state of Connecticut.

* 4-5 years of RN experience.

* Prior experience in a clinical practice setting, preferably in OB/GYN.

* Strong critical thinking, organizational, and decision-making skills.

* Ability to handle high patient volume and time-sensitive tasks.

* High level of professionalism, responsibility, and initiative.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* BSN degree preferred.

* Experience in a specialty area such as OB/GYN is highly desirable.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cheshire, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.
