Salary Range: $19.00 - $23.00 hourly.

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Contribute to a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents.

• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and toileting.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers, using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Monitor vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Document resident care accurately and promptly.
• Assist with meal service and feeding residents as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain proper hygiene practices.
• Participate in resident activities and encourage socialization.
• Respond to resident call lights promptly and provide assistance as needed.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
• Attend mandatory in-service training and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing staff.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

• Experience providing direct patient care in a long-term care setting preferred.

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and move patients.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Knowledge of basic nursing principles and procedures.
• Ability to document patient information accurately.
