Quality Inspector

We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Quality Inspection Lead to join our team. In this role you will combine hands‑on technical expertise with light leadership, overseeing two inspectors while performing daily precision inspections. If you have a deep understanding of GD&T, a sharp eye for small metal parts, and a background in heat‑treating and plating processes, you’ll fit right in.

This is a stationary, desk‑based inspection role perfect for a technical expert who thrives in a focused, analytical environment.

We offer a 4‑day work week (Monday–Thursday) with a first shift schedule (6 AM–4 PM) and a salary range of $65,000‑$80,000 per year.

• Perform comprehensive quality inspections, including First Article (FAI), in‑process, and setup evaluations
• Utilize precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, and optical comparators
• Interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints using knowledge of GD&T
• CMM experience is a plus
• Manage calibration programs using Gage Trak, ensuring all tools remain within certified operating standards
• Document and maintain quality records, reporting inspection results and non‑conformances
• Train and mentor inspection staff
• Partner with cross‑functional production teams to troubleshoot quality issues

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality inspection
• Experienced level
• High School education or equivalent
