Location: Cheshire, CT (Plant) – Industrial Filling
Pay Range: $27 - $29 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, day shift

This role is responsible for the safe transportation, loading, and unloading of compressed gas cylinders between locations while maintaining meticulous documentation and vehicle safety inspections. You will manage associate and customer relations, operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, and adhere to hazardous material safety protocols.
Responsibilities- Vehicle Operation: Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders, and hard goods along designated routes.
- Customer Service: Collect empty cylinders from customers and address inquiries to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Documentation: Record all transactions accurately and obtain necessary customer signatures.
- Logistics: Handle loading and unloading of all materials.
- Safety & Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, noting any issues to ensure full safety compliance and maintain vehicle condition.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company during all deliveries.
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class B or better CDL with HAZMAT endorsement
- Airgas Background Check and Motor Vehicle Check completed successfully
- At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years
- DOT clearance verification from previous employers
- Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs., occasionally 76–>100 lbs with equipment
- Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures
- Committed to maintaining a drug‑free workplace
- Adherence to safety regulations and policies
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Forklift experience
- Touch freight delivery experience
