Electrician - Facilities Management

Fraser Edwards is recruiting a skilled Electrician on behalf of a well-established Facilities Management contractor. This is a permanent role within a growing, reputable organisation, offering long-term stability and career development.

As an Electrician, you will deliver high-quality electrical maintenance services across commercial properties and communal areas, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations and client standards.

• Carry out reactive and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical equipment within the client's asset register
• Complete planned maintenance works in accordance with client specifications
• Compile remedial work lists following PPM visits
• Make recommendations on plant condition, including submitting life‑expired asset reports where necessary
• Assist the Contracts Manager with preparing costings for remedial works
• Order materials for jobs and manage associated paperwork
• Take delivery of materials, check delivery notes, and hand documentation to the foreman
• Complete worksheets accurately and submit to Head Office weekly
• Attend training and Health & Safety courses as directed
• Follow company accident reporting procedures and site H&S guidelines

• Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• 18th Edition qualified
• Experience with in a Facilities Management or commercial maintenance environment
• Full UK Driving Licence (company van provided)
• Strong fault‑finding, organisational, and reporting skills
• Flexible approach to overtime and callouts

• Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:30
• Participation in call‑out rota as required
