Position Overview :
In alignment with Com Well’s Mission, Vision, and Values, the Authorized Direct Support Professional (ADSP) provides compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role focuses on promoting independence, enhancing quality of life, developing daily living skills, and supporting the health, safety, and overall well-being of those served.
The Authorized Direct Support Professional delivers services through a person-centered, trauma-informed approach that encourages individual choice, independence, community integration, and active participation in daily life. Services are provided in residential and community settings while supporting individuals in achieving their personal goals and maintaining meaningful connections within their communities. The ADSP works as part of a supportive team and performs duties in accordance with individualized service plans, Com Well policies, and applicable regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist individuals with developing, reviewing, and implementing individualized service and treatment plans
- Provide person-centered support that promotes independence, dignity, choice, and quality of life
- Assist individuals with daily living, social, communication, and independent living skills
- Support individuals in participating in community activities and developing meaningful relationships
- Implement individualized support strategies and behavioral interventions as directed
- Assist with medication administration and other health-related needs as trained and authorized
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive residential environment - Collaborate with individuals, families, coworkers, and other members of the care team
Qualifications :
- Must meet Com Well and program requirements for the ADSP/RSA position.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance in accordance with Com Well’s insurance requirements.
- Ability to successfully complete required training and background checks.
- Flexible and willing to work at both Chester and Sparta locations.
Compensation : $19.60 per hour
