Housekeeper 8hr shifts / 5-days a week

Full Time 40+ Chester, IL, US

Salary Range: $15.50 To $22.22 Hourly

Looking for a full-time Housekeeper to work 5-days a week Monday through Friday working 8 hour shifts, to be agreed upon between 5:00pm and 6:30am. This position is at the Rural Health Clinic at Memorial Hospital and comes with full benefits and retirement. You will earn competitive wages with additional wages for housekeeping experience and when working weekends. This position is 100% onsite at the Hospital;

as needed at Steeleville Rural Health and Chester Physical Therapy Department.

Requirements

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Drivers License and personal vehicle and insurance to travel between locations when needed.
Must pass background and drug screening on pre-employment checks.
Vaccinations per IDPH, CDC, and CMS.

Duties Include but are not limited to

General Housekeeping duties which include removing trash, vacuum, sweeping, mopping, wiping down walls, handles and furniture, cleaning patient rooms and bathrooms, clean windows and additional duties assigned by manager.

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand 100% of the shift.
Additionally:
Climb 3 foot ladder, turn, reach, crouch and stoops while performing tasks, scouring, dusting and cleaning.
Lift 35 lbs, travel up and down stairs, have good mobility to use broom, mop and wipe down furniture and follow all infection control measures to keep the hospital clean.
