Passenger Mini‑Van Driver

Hourly Pay: $17.00

Job Overview

Railcrew Xpress (RCX) provides safe, dependable and reliable transportation to members of railroad crews. As a Passenger Mini‑Van Driver you will transport railroad crews to various locations based on their needs, helping maintain railroad systems and ensuring safety for all involved.

Responsibilities

• Transport railroad crews to assigned locations.
• Create your own schedule as an on‑call position.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain safety standards.
• Communicate, onboard, train and submit shift and trip information using electronic devices.

Qualifications
  • Minimum age of 21.
  • Current valid state‑issued driver’s license.
  • Clean driving record: less than two moving violations in the last three years; no careless, reckless, or failure‑to‑control violations in the last five years; no DUI convictions in the previous seven years; no drug or alcohol‑related convictions in the previous four years; no auto theft conviction in the last seven years.
  • No record of sex‑offender registry or felony conviction in the last seven years, release from a penal institution in the last five years, or other crimes of concern.
  • Cleared by eRailsafe or required background report with a negative drug and/or alcohol test.
  • Physical requirements:

    ability to lift up to 10 lbs., sit for extended periods, bend and stretch for vehicle inspection, enter and exit the vehicle safely, and wear a seatbelt properly.
  • Meet the physical requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act’s Section 391.41 if required, including passing a DOT physical examination.
  • Ability to hear, read, and respond to instructions over the phone, navigation system, and/or radio in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, professional temperament and attitude, customer‑service skills, ability to navigate high‑traffic areas, and meet time deadlines.
