Part Time Customer Relations Specialist

Suburban Propane is seeking a Part Time Customer Relations Specialist to support our Utilities & Energy customers with responsive, safety-focused service. In this role, you'll handle inbound calls and emails, assist with account setup and billing questions, schedule propane deliveries and service appointments, and update customer records accurately. You'll work closely with drivers and technicians to ensure timely, reliable service, educate customers on safety and product options, and help maintain strong, long-term relationships in a team-oriented, community-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer calls and emails regarding propane and energy services
• Assist customers with account setup, billing questions, and payment processing
• Schedule deliveries, service visits, and maintenance appointments
• Update customer records accurately in CRM and billing systems
• Educate customers on safety procedures, service options, and energy products
• Resolve service issues and escalate complex concerns to appropriate teams
• Coordinate with operations, drivers, and technicians to ensure on-time service
• Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report updates
• Support customer retention efforts through proactive communication and follow-up
• Adhere to safety, compliance, and privacy standards in all customer interactions
