Plant Administrator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Plant Administrator to support the day-to-day administrative, customer service, accounting, and logistics functions of our manufacturing facility. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, vendors, transportation providers, and internal teams while ensuring efficient office operations and supporting plant activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and vendors.
- Handle order entry and processing efficiently.
- Assist in the import/export of raw materials.
- Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities.
- Support plant activities through effective communication with internal teams.
- Maintain accurate data entry for inventory and purchase orders.
Essential Skills
- Experience in data entry and order processing.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems, specifically SAP.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Salesforce.
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- 2+ years of experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong customer service orientation.
Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite, with working hours from 8am to 5pm. The work environment is dynamic, requiring interaction with various teams and external stakeholders.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chester, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
