Kitchen Store Assistant – Carden Park Hotel, Broxton Road, Chester, Cheshire, CH3 9DQ
SalaryUp to £27,500 per annum plus service charge and extensive benefits, depending on experience.
Contract40 hours per week.
Shift Pattern7am – 3:30pm.
What Your Day Will Look Like- Manage the hotel’s kitchen stock, including food, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
- Receive, check and store deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Implement and maintain an effective stock rotation system to minimise waste and ensure freshness.
- Conduct daily temperature checks for fridges and storage areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Issue supplies to different departments as needed.
- Ensure storage areas are clean, organised and compliant with hygiene and safety standards.
- Liaise with suppliers to track orders and resolve any discrepancies.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Understanding of food safety, stock rotation, and temperature control procedures.
- A team player with good communication skills.

Providing world‑class service is at the heart of everything we do. You will be part of a creative, busy and energetic team of chefs who cater for our guests across 8 kitchens throughout the resort. You will be enthusiastic, a great team player with experience of working in busy kitchens, and the ability to work calmly under pressure. As part of the Carden kitchen team you will need to have previous proven experience working within quality establishments preparing and producing meals to the highest standard.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a luxury resort and learn from an excellent Chef brigade.
