LOLER Inspector and Service Technician

This is a full‑time hybrid role based in Chester, with remote site work across the UK. As a LOLER Inspector & Service Technician, you will:

• Work as part of a team, but also lone working will be required on occasion.
• Conduct on‑site inspections, testing, and certification of rigging equipment to ensure LOLER compliance.
• Identify equipment requiring repair or replacement.
• Coordinate with suppliers to source parts.
• Ensure high safety standards in all operations.

• Proficiency in equipment inspection, evaluation, and certification under LOLER.
• Ability to identify repairs and source replacement equipment.
• Technical skills for basic repairs and troubleshooting.
• Strong organisational and record‑keeping skills.
• Excellent communication skills; able to work on‑site and remotely.
• Valid UK Full driving licence (6 points maximum) and willingness to travel and stay away from home.
• Experience in rigging inspection or the entertainment/events industry (advantageous).
• Relevant rigging or health & safety certifications (advantageous).
• IPAF/PASMA and FLT licence would be an advantage but not essential as training will be offered to the right candidate.
