Join a well-established and supportive electrical contractor covering the Wirral, Cheshire, Manchester and Runcorn areas, where you'll carry out a mix of domestic and commercial inspection and testing work.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing compliance team, carrying out EICRs and electrical inspections to the highest standards. You'll work Monday to Friday with a strong focus on keeping travel local wherever possible. Travel is paid from the first and last 30 minutes of your day, with door-to-site fuel costs covered for the remainder.
Responsibilities- Working across the Wirral, Cheshire, Manchester and Runcorn areas
- Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across domestic and commercial properties
- Inspecting, testing and diagnosing electrical installations in line with BS 7671 and NICEIC standards
- Accurately identifying and coding faults, including C1, C2, C3 and FI observations
- Completing inspection reports using NICEIC software
- Carrying out snagging work and ensuring successful handovers
- Working closely with customers, tenants, site managers and other trades
- Managing your own workload and maintaining van stock
- Following site safety procedures, RAMS and CDM regulations at all times
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing qualification
- A valid ECS or CSCS card (Gold Card preferred)
- Proven experience completing EICRs independently
- A full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

This Electrician role is offering a salary of around £41,500 - £42,500 per year, depending on experience, with overtime available to further increase your earnings.
Location & TravelThis Electrician position covers the Wirral, Cheshire, Manchester and Runcorn areas. The business aims to keep engineers working as locally as possible, reducing travel time wherever it can. You'll receive a company van and fuel card, with fuel covered from your door to site apart from the first and last 30 minutes of your working day.
