Accountant | Tax & Quick Books Specialist

Location: Richmond, VA

Position Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an Accountant to manage financial reporting and tax preparation for a diverse client portfolio. The ideal candidate is a Quick Books expert with experience in a CPA firm environment who can work independently to deliver high-quality financial insights.

• Full-Cycle Accounting:
  Manage bank reconciliations and prepare monthly income statements and balance sheets using Quick Books Online/Desktop.
• Tax Preparation:
  Prepare individual, business, and trust/estate tax returns; stay current on evolving tax legislation.
• Client Advisory:
  Interface directly with clients to gather data, review financial results, and discuss tax planning opportunities.
• Payroll & Compliance:
  Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate federal/state tax filings.

• Expertise:
  Advanced proficiency in Quick Books and professional tax software.
• Experience:
  
  Background in a Professional Services/CPA firm is preferred.
• Skills:
  
  Strong knowledge of complex tax research and payroll compliance.
• Credentials:
  Detail-oriented self-starter; CPA or EA candidates are a plus.
