Constructability Manager Data Center

- DBA IES Electrical, seeking full-time Constructability Manager-Data Center in Chester, Virginia.

• Complete understanding of project requirements, including detailed understanding of drawings, specifications, and installation methods.
• Lead integration of BIM design with construction installation and ensure constructability.
• Apply detailed knowledge of electrical installation and data center construction; master multiple BIM and industry software programs.
• Coordinate directly with Project Supervision and Design Team to advance project design, provide installation drawings, and update the model with as‑built information.
• Perform constructability reviews based on construction techniques, mechanical equipment installation, and electrical construction.
• Collaborate with engineering, equipment suppliers, and subcontractors to develop installation strategies, define scope, and solve installation challenges.
• Liaise between contractor, supplier, designer, and engineer to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
• Prepare weekly and monthly management reports on progress and issues; maintain daily reports and keep management informed.
• Maintain current project records, design drawings and data, shop drawings, O&M manuals, and as‑built drawings.
• Act as point of contact for all design coordination.
• Work performed on the project site.

• Data Center experience required.
• BS degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 7+ years of electrical field experience (Master's or Journeyman preferred).
• Electrician Superintendent experience on Data Center or Industrial projects preferred.
• Experience with $20–$100M electrical projects preferred.
• Proficient understanding of 3D modeling systems (not required to model/draw).
• Proficiency in Blue Beam, Procore, CX Alloy, BIM
  360, MS Project, P6, and other industry‑standard software.
• Excellent computer, communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills.
• Successfully pass pre‑employment (post‑offer) background check and MVR check.
