Virginia Oral & Facial Surgery is looking for a motivated Patient Service Representative
to join our team. Our culture fosters family, purposeful work, individual accountability, and execution. We're looking for a self-starter interested in working in a fast-past and dynamic oral surgery environment to help promote exceptional patient service. This role is responsible for creating a positive patient experience and building a positive work environment.
Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.

What You’ll Do:
  • Confirm and update patient identification, demographic, and insurance information.
  • Prepare patient charts and documentation for upcoming appointments.
  • Perform all check-in and check-out functions, including collecting necessary information and payments.
  • Obtain patient consents/authorizations and process insurance pre-authorizations and referrals.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly, document messages, and route inquiries to appropriate personnel.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and organized medical records.
  • Support overall front-office operations and assist with other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
  • Two (2) years of customer service experience, required.
  • Proficient in Spanish.
  • Experience with oral surgery or in a medical or dental practice, preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance processes, preferred.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
