Summary: Pipe fitter lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems by performing the following duties.

• Has practical knowledge of regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and regulations; adheres to CSE, Inc. Rules and Regulations and Site-Specific Rules and Regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions in a cordial and professional manner.
• Cut and bevel carbon steel and stainless for proper weld joints.
• Cut and thread pipe for thread joint connections.
• Use saws and cutting torches to craft proper pipe specs.
• Secure piping and install hanger systems.
• Repair and maintain pipe systems and components.
• Resolve problems such as changing drawings, relocations, obstacle interference, etc.

• Must be able to properly install piping systems level, straight, and plumb. Must be able to read and interpret pipe drawings and sketches.
• While working, may be required to oversee a crew of 2–3 workers and will be held responsible for completion and quality of work.

  Experience:
  
  Two or more years related experience and/or training.

  Skills:
  
  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Mathematical
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as length, angle, degree turns, take outs for different size pipe 45s and 90s, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply basic math skills for fittings, take offs, and pipe runs.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
