Salary: $32 – $39.75 per hour.

A well-established manufacturing organization in the Chester, VA area is seeking an experienced Gravure Press Operator to support high-volume, quality-driven packaging production. This is a long-term, direct-hire opportunity with a stable facility, strong safety culture, and consistent production demand.

• Set up, operate, and monitor gravure printing presses to meet production, quality, and safety standards
• Perform make‑readies, ink mixing, color matching, and viscosity control
• Monitor print quality, registration, and color consistency throughout production runs
• Troubleshoot press, mechanical, or print quality issues and make real‑time adjustments
• Complete roll changes, cylinder changes, and basic press maintenance
• Accurately document production data, downtime, and quality checks
• Follow all safety, GMP, and housekeeping standards in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment

• Prior hands‑on experience operating gravure printing presses in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of inks, solvents, substrates, and print quality standards
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and print defects independently
• Comfortable working in a high-speed, continuous production setting
• Willingness to work designated shift and overtime as needed
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
