Load and unload materials onto pallets, trucks, or customer vehicles and secure with strapping or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit;
Perform load-building to determine weight, composition, and placement of load to balance and safely haul;
Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine materials to be moved or loaded;
Convey materials to or from storage to designated area using hand truck, electric dolly, forklift or other device;
Provide training and guidance to less experienced Load Builders
