** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a fast-paced technology location.

+ Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering the location, following post orders and documenting unusual activity, restricted items, and/or policy concerns.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.

+ Monitor entry points, credential checks, and visitor processing systems to help support authorized access and help to deter unauthorized entry.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting operational issues, suspicious activity, and/or security-related hazards that may require follow-up.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
