Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician

Walmart is expanding its workforce across local retail stores and actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you possess relevant experience in this field, we invite you to bring your skills to our fast‑paced, welcoming work environment.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record report
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Large‑scale rack refrigeration experience

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC skills and hand, digital, and power tools.
• Use the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support store associates, and document repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, following Walmart’s refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights.
