- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining, inspecting, or repairing overhead hoists, cranes, or related industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Technical school certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- Crane and Hoist Inspector Certification.
- OSHA 10-Hour or OSHA 30-Hour Certification.
- Experience with VFDs, motor controls, and PLC troubleshooting.
- Rigging, signal person, forklift, or aerial lift certifications.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and access elevated platforms.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical work throughout the day.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical school, vocational training, or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or mechanical equipment preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining overhead hoists, cranes, and lifting equipment.
- Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or maintenance environments.
- Knowledge of overhead hoists, cranes, rigging systems, wire ropes, chains, hooks, brakes, motors, gearboxes, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of applicable OSHA, ASME, CMAA, and other safety standards related to lifting equipment.
- Ability to perform load testing, inspections, preventive maintenance, and equipment certification activities.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and measuring instruments.
- Crane and Hoist Inspection Certification.
- OSHA 10-Hour or OSHA 30-Hour Certification.
- Qualified Rigger and/or Signal Person Certification.
- Forklift and aerial lift certifications as required.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
- Ability to properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Must follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer or job sites as required.
- Ability to maintain accurate inspection, maintenance, and repair records.
- Perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on overhead hoists and lifting equipment.
- Conduct safety inspections and identify equipment deficiencies.
- Repair or replace defective components.
- Perform operational and load testing.
- Complete maintenance documentation and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and industry standards
