Job Title:Journeyman Electrician
Location:Chester, VA
Pay Range: $43-$45/hr.
Shift:10pm - 8am
Training:M-F 8am - 5pm

• Oversee the general operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and lighting systems, including new equipment installations.
• Inspect, check, repair, and replace electrical and lighting components such as wiring, controls, switches, motors, gauges, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, and related systems.
• Maintain equipment in a safe operating condition and support safe work practices on an active construction site.
• Review historical maintenance records to help create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Use standard procedures and technical judgment to solve routine problems and deliver efficient, reliable service to customers.

• Journeyman’s license required (and Master Electrician license required as dictated by local electrical codes).
• 5–7 years of experience in electrical work, with a strong foundation in electrical principles and maintenance practices.
• High school diploma or GED (trade school diploma preferred in alignment with experience).
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet physical requirements, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more

• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong organizational skills.

• Work on a new account with an assignment duration of approximately 5 months
  , with potential extension.
• Opportunity for conversion to FTE (conversion potential noted).
• Training support during the first 6–8 weeks (M–F 8am–5pm) before rotating shifts.
• Experience working independently within a team environment using a work order management system.
• Clear expectations and a structured interview process, including 2 virtual interviews
