Shipping and Receiving Operator - 1st Shift

Position Summary

Shipping and Receiving Operator or General Warehouse Worker. Monday‑Friday 7:00AM‑3:30PM, $18perhour. PTO, insurance after 30 days, other benefits, on‑the‑job training.

• Use forklift and pallet jack to move products on and off trucks while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Verify inventory and visually inspect shipments for quality.
• Read and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities and types of products to be shipped.
• Determine the location of requested items in the warehouse, change over pallets for picking, and visually inspect items for damages or flaws.
• Document and report damages to supervisors or leads.
• Pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for shipping using RF scanning equipment to document and verify counts of picked items.
• Alert appropriate leader of any product or material issues and follow directions to rectify the problem.
• Help clean and organize the warehouse at the end of the shift.

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.

• Identify products through reading, interpreting, and scanning pallet identification numbers.
• Understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Work in temperatures as low as –20°F (–25°C) or up to 100°F (37°C) while wearing company‑provided PPE and freezer gear.
• Lift a minimum of 40lbs; weight may be more depending on the facility.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.
• Comfortable with various noise levels, sometimes loud.
