As a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer at Penske, you’ll ensure vehicles are fueled, clean, and safe before they hit the road again. You will be the face of Penske—the person greeting our customers when they arrive and the one sending them off with a smile.

Penske will train you in vehicle maintenance processes, technology, and preventive repair. The training and experience can lead to advancement as a technician. The role also offers career stability and competitive benefits.
- Greeting customers and ensuring a positive experience while fueling and washing vehicles
- Performing vehicle readiness inspections, checking tires, fluids, and basic maintenance items
- Maintaining a clean and safe facility for customers and associates
- Gaining skills through training and coaching to perform minor repairs such as tire installation, replacement, rotation, and preventive maintenance
- Completing other tasks and projects as assigned by a supervisor

- High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Team‑player ability and willingness to work outside
- Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred)
- Basic computer skills
- Compliance with Penske management instructions, guidelines, rules, and regulations
- Adherence to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including correct tool, PPE, and machine guarding use
- Regular, predictable full attendance required
- Current driver qualification file, DOT requirements, and potential travel within a nearby geography for training
- Regulatory safety-sensitive status; must maintain alertness and safe conduct
- Frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods
- Use hands routinely for grasping, reaching, touching, and operating tools or controls
- Ability to work safely at heights with ladders or elevated platforms
- Capability to work in all weather conditions
- Good vision and hearing to navigate the workplace safely
- Regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg); push/pull truck tires that exceed 100 lbs
