Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Incarnate Word is currently seeking a caring, dependable, and faith-filled individual to serve as a Cafeteria Aide in our School Lunch Program. The Cafeteria Aide helps provide a safe, welcoming, and positive lunch experience for our students while supporting the school's Catholic mission and values. The Cafeteria Aide will supervise students during the lunch period, encourage appropriate behavior and respectful interactions, and help maintain a clean, orderly, and positive cafeteria environment.

• Supervise students during the lunch period and ensure their safety and well-being.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and welcoming environment consistent with Catholic school values.
• Encourage students to demonstrate kindness, good manners, responsibility, and respect for others.
• Monitor student behavior and address minor concerns appropriately.
• Assist students as needed during lunch while encouraging independence and responsibility.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe cafeteria and surrounding areas.
• Assist with basic cafeteria duties, including setting up, cleaning tables, and organizing the lunch area.
• Communicate any student safety, behavioral, or other concerns to the appropriate school staff.
• Follow all school policies and procedures related to student supervision, safety, and confidentiality.
• Work cooperatively with teachers, staff, cafeteria personnel, and school administration.
• Serve as a positive role model for students and contribute to the faith-filled culture of the school.

A genuine commitment to supporting the mission and values of a Catholic school. Warm, caring, and patient demeanor when working with children. Ability to supervise and interact positively with students. Dependable, responsible, and punctual. Ability to maintain a calm and positive attitude in a busy school environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required.

Must be able to meet all school requirements for working with students, including required background checks and other applicable screenings.
