Hours: Mon–Fri, 39 hrs contracted (55–65 hrs typical with overtime)

Join a Leading Plant Maintenance Team!

We’re urgently seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer / Mobile Plant Technician / Heavy Equipment Mechanic to service, maintain, and repair a fleet of Volvo, Caterpillar, and Komatsu heavy earthmoving machinery.

This is a fully remote, home-based role, where you’ll travel directly to customer sites. The position includes regular UK travel with typically 1–2 overnight stays per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mobile servicing and diagnostics directly on customer sites
• Occasional work in the workshop when required
• Overhauls, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
• On-site welding and gas cutting (advantageous)
• Work safely and efficiently while meeting QSHE objectives

Requirements:

• Proven experience with heavy plant, construction, or quarry equipment
• CSCS Card, First Aid, EPIC Quarry Passport, NVQ Level 2 desirable (training available)
• Full UK driving licence
• Able to work independently in a field-based role
