Aviation Technician – Emergency Slides & Life Rafts Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 depending on skills and experience

Full time, Monday to Friday Join Avia Technique, a UK aviation maintenance and repair centre specialising in critical safety and survival equipment. We are looking for a Technician to maintain and repair emergency slides and life rafts at our Witham facility. In this hands-on role you will maintain high-pressure safety equipment to the highest standards, working in a skilled, collaborative team that ensures every component meets strict regulatory and customer requirements. What you'll be doing Carrying out maintenance and repair work in line with approved aviation data Complying fully with regulatory frameworks and internal quality standards Working closely with colleagues to manage and prioritise workload Keeping a strong focus on accuracy, safety and attention to detail What you'll bring Proven experience in a mechanical environment A strong understanding of high-pressure systems Familiarity with aviation maintenance standards and safety protocols Excellent teamwork and communication skills A proactive, detail-oriented and safety-conscious approach Aviation experience is desirable but not essential What's on offer Salary of £26,000 - £29,000 depending on skills and experience Monthly bonus based on company performance 33 days holiday, including bank holidays Enhanced employer pension contributions Private healthcare for you and your family Employee Assistance Programme Cycle to Work Scheme Tech Spend Scheme Long Service Award Training and development opportunities Additional information You must have the permanent right to work in the UK without requiring current or future sponsorship.
