Aviation Technician – Emergency Slides & Life Rafts (International Secondments) Salary:
From £27,000 plus additional secondment payments

Witham, Essex, with international secondment opportunities Working pattern:
Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Avia Technique, part of the SK Aero Safety Group, is a UK aviation maintenance and repair centre specialising in critical safety and survival equipment. We are looking for a Technician to join our team at our Witham facility, with the chance to take on international secondments across the SK Aero Safety Group global MRO network.

About the role You will maintain safety slides and life rafts to the highest standards in a hands-on role. Your main place of work is our Witham facility, alongside our experienced technical team. You will also have the chance to work on international secondments of between one and three months at customer locations worldwide. These assignments give you valuable international experience while supporting the needs of the wider group.

What you'll be doing Carrying out maintenance and repair work in line with approved aviation data Complying fully with regulatory frameworks and internal quality standards Working closely with colleagues to manage and prioritise workload Keeping a strong focus on accuracy, safety and attention to detail Travelling internationally to support customer operations on planned secondments of up to three months, with return travel options available during placement Representing Avia Technique professionally at sites across the globe What you'll bring Proven experience in a mechanical environment An understanding of high-pressure systems Willingness and ability to travel internationally for periods of one to three months Familiarity with aviation maintenance standards and safety protocols Excellent teamwork and communication skills A proactive, detail-oriented and safety-conscious approach Flexibility and adaptability when working in different locations and environments Aviation experience is desirable but not essential What's on offer Salary from £27,000 Additional secondment payments for each international assignment Monthly bonus based on company performance 33 days holiday, including bank holidays Enhanced employer pension contributions Private healthcare Employee Assistance Programme Cycle to Work Scheme Tech Spend Scheme Long Service Award Training and development opportunities Additional information You must have the permanent right to work in the UK without requiring current or future sponsorship.
